new beginnings
every year, I try to relearn how to code... I think I began learning in 2018? it's always been
so dreadfully difficult for me to organize my code... I think I've rewatched the same tutorial over and over again. it gets harder and harder each time; my mind works in a very convoluted, disorganized manner, grasping at straws, pushing and prodding through a muck of memory soup (or lack thereof)... I always feel too embarrassed to
use templates to help me get restarted, like I must be utterly original or I might as well not make a site. WELL, 2024 is a brand new year, and I must get comfortable with humbling myself!!!
I have always wanted my very own site, to make my own shrines and diaries and share quotes of the day and put silly little music players on it. why not do so now? I will put aside my "pride" and do my very best to make my site!!! I will shamelessly accept help and use templates to familiarize myself with the material once more!!! nukafizzle shall be real in our good year 2024!!! YAY!!!
goals for the site...? well, apart from the stuff I've wanted to do that I listed above, one of my main goals is to develop an archive of graphics that dates them, finds their creator/artist or at the very least the first instance of it apppearing online!!! some should definitely be easy, others not so much, especially once you dive into the deep end of the pool... but I think it's a fun and worthy endeavour; I see so many of the same pixels recurring online, especially on Tumblr and Carrd, and I often wonder where they came from. an artist put time and effort into creating them, and they've left a legacy on the internet!!! that's deserving of praise and acknowledgement, I think.
so, I wish to start this project, and perhaps even inspire others to look deeper into their personal graphics collections and do the same!!! okloveyoubye ^__^)b
